On June 15, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China issued Announcement No. 52 of 2018, and decided to review the investigation on the anti-dumping measures against imported high-temperature pressure-bearing alloy steel seamless steel pipes originating from the United States and the European Union.


Pakistan decided A five-year 5.36%-14.24% anti-dumping duty is imposed on Painted Coats (PPGI) imported from China and South Africa.

On June 20, the US Department of Commerce announced a countervailing preliminary ruling on large-diameter welded pipes imported from China, India, South Korea and Turkey. Among them, China’s mandatory responding companies and other Chinese producers and exporters’ subsidy rates are 198.49%. The US Department of Commerce is expected to make a countervailing final ruling on November 6, 2018.


On June 20, the US Department of Commerce announced that 42 steel products in China, Japan, Sweden, Belgium, and Germany can be obtained.

The Canadian government is preparing to impose tariffs and quota controls on steel imports from China and other countries to prevent global steel producers from influxing Canada's products in order to circumvent US tariffs.
