U.S. International Trade Commission makes final ruling on damage to carbon alloy steel screws

On March 19, 2020, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) voted to make a positive final ruling on anti-dumping and countervailing industrial damage to carbon and steel screws imported from China and India (CarbonandAlloySteelThreadedRod). In this ruling, all five members of the International Trade Commission voted affirmatively. According to the positive ruling of the US International Trade Commission, the US Department of Commerce will issue anti-dumping and anti-subsidy tax orders on carbon alloy steel screws imported from China and India. The case involved products under the United States Harmonized Tariff Headings 7318.15.5051, 7318.15.5056 and 7318.15.5090 and some products under the headings 7318.15.2095 and 7318.19.0000.

On February 10, 2020, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced a positive final anti-dumping and countervailing ruling on carbon alloy steel screws imported from China and India. According to US statistics, the total imports of carbon alloy steel screws imported by the United States from China, India, Taiwan, and Thailand in 2018 were approximately $ 104.7 million, $ 35.8 million, $ 51.1 million, and $ 5.8 million.
