In April of this year, we received an inquiry from a Vietnamese customer, asking for a small-diameter cold drawn seamless steel pipe with a specification of 26-27mm. The customer requested that the steel pipe must be produced by cold-drawn art, and have a very strictly size control: the inner and outer diameters should be controlled zero negative tolerance, 0.1-0.2mm positive tolerance, and the tube straightness shall not exceed 1mm/m. The customer intends to come to China for factory inspection, but due to the current global epidemic situation, client decided to invite a third-party inspection agency to come for the final inspection.

After communicating with the technical department and confirming that we can fully meet every requirement and tolerance control put forward by the customer, Xinyue took the order. Immediately, all departments worked together: Before purchasing raw materials, We inspected the chemical composition and mechanical properties at our own expense to ensure that the materials fully meet customer requirements. During the production process, QC inspect the outer diameter and wall thickness of the steel pipe daily. After the production completed, according to the customer's requirements, we apply oil, pack, bundle and label. We invite three parties to the factory to inspect the goods. After 2 days of final inspection, the tripartite inspectors completed the inspections of the steel pipe's appearance dimensions, straightness, outer surface, etc., and sent the report to the customer. After the customer audited and confirmed that all tests were 100% qualified, we started packing and collecting.

In early July, a whole container of JIS3045-S35C small-diameter cold-drawn seamless steel pipes were shipped from Tianjin Port.

As the length of the steel pipe is 3-5 meters, it is easy to slide in the container and hit the wall of the container during ocean transportation, causing damage to the pipe. For this reason, we have reinforced the pipe with steel wire rope and multi-sided reinforcement with wooden support. At present, the goods are about to arrive at the port, and the customer is ready to receive the goods. The customer has expressed appreciation for the details of the processing of Xinyue’s order execution, including the control of the bundling weight required by the customer, the format of the product label, and the reinforcement method of the container and many more.
